An intraoral X-ray picture is taken using a dental RVG (Radiovisiography) sensor, a contemporary dental sensoring device. Instead of using conventional X-ray film, a digital sensor is used. In order to produce digital pictures that can be seen right away on a computer screen, RVG sensors transform X-ray radiation.
